Raptors are the top predators and provide important ecosystem services. Despite their importance, over 50% of raptors in Nepal are either threatened or near-threatened. Nepal Raptor Conservation Project is led by Dr Tulsi Subedi and his team for the research and conservation of threatened, declining and least-known raptors as a goal to develop capacity for raptor conservation and to reverse the population decline of raptors in Nepal and the entire Himalayas region.
